Create a letter

• Choose a theme and enter the recipient name.
• Write the main message, what you love, your story, and dreams together.
• Use the AI helper if you need a starting point.
• Add high-quality photos, captions, dates, locations, and a music link.
• Preview the same envelope-style experience the recipient will open.

AI writing helper

The helper is designed to reduce writer block. Choose the relationship type and it fills the four letter sections with editable draft text. A future AI provider can use the recipient name, existing message, relationship, and photo captions as context.

Sharing and recipient access

OpenYourLetter is built around shareable links and QR codes. You can send the link through text message, email, WhatsApp, Messenger, social DM, or print a QR code on a physical card once QR tooling is enabled.

Password and privacy

A password can be used to require the recipient to unlock the letter. A public link without a password should be treated as shareable by anyone who receives it.

Finding a letter

Use My Letters to reopen letters saved on this device or search by the creator email. Browser-only drafts can disappear if the device data is cleared.
