OpenYourLetter privacy
Cookie Policy
This page explains how cookies, local storage, and similar technologies support the letter creator, ad attribution, and future analytics.
Last updated July 7, 2026
In simple words
- Some storage is necessary so drafts, attribution, and letter lookup work.
- Draft photos can be kept in IndexedDB until the user publishes, deletes the draft, or clears browser data.
- Advertising and analytics pixels are optional configuration items for paid campaign testing.
- Admin pages should not load public tracking code.
Necessary storage
- Draft state and photo draft records.
- Created-letter records saved on this device.
- Language, attribution, and basic session state.
Analytics and advertising
When enabled, OpenYourLetter may load Google, Meta, TikTok, Microsoft Clarity, or similar tags to measure visits, conversions, and campaign quality. IDs and snippets are managed from the admin settings.
How to control storage
- Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and site data.
- Clear a draft from the creator if you no longer want it on the device.
- Use privacy tools or consent controls to limit optional advertising cookies.
Changes
This policy will be updated as payment, email, consent, and analytics systems are connected.
